So like, I really should post something here otherwise this space looks so lonely :)
I have the strange interest of cosplay photography. Im sure it also extends to human and portrait photography too, but I haven't given that a go yet.
It all started at AVCon 2009. I was a convention (or in this case connection) newbie fascinated by all the wonderful and unique colours and designs that the world of cosplay has to offer. At the time with my dinky compact in hand I got around so much that I needed to bring its battery charger along for the weekend too :) Nowdays I have a beginner DSLR and am slowly learning the ropes. I still suck though :)
Find me at your (my) local cosplay event, I try to make it to as many as possible to take photos of this wonderful culture.
I wont have much in the way of submissions to DA, as they will be posted by the actual cosplayers in the photos themselves, but you can find my dumps on both flickr www.flickr.com/photos/terrastr… and facebook www.facebook.com/photos.php?id… .
Not much more that I can think of to say here, contact me if youre interested in getting photos taken I guess :)

AVCon over, and I'm unhappy. Long story short, I didn't really have the fun I anticipated. Probably my own reasons but I'm sure many thought the same.
Next up is Manifest http://www.manifest.org.au/web/
Also starting work on props (the 4-6 swords) for Advent Cirno. Feeling crafty after finishing or nearly finishing Bethany's wings (needs a new battery holder and a bit of soldering).
